The Fifth International "Interface to Real and Virtual Worlds" Conference, Informatique Montpellier'96, will be held on 20-24 May 1996.

This annual conference presents the widest possible range of tools and techniques involved in man-machine interfaces and highlights their concrete application in industry and the service sector.

Informatique Montpellier'96 will comprise a series of lectures on the methods, models, tools and techniques involved in developing man-machine interfaces and their applications in various professional sectors. In addition, a number of panel sessions, tutorials and an industrial forum will be held. The working languages will be English and French.

In addition, the event will include an exhibition of commercially available products, including software and hardware tools for building man-made interfaces and for applications relating to sectoral areas. Advanced prototypes of tools and applications developed by research organizations will also be demonstrated.
