Germany
The German national Information Day for the "Telematics for Libraries" sector of the Community's specific RTD programme in the area of telematic applications of common interest, will take place in Berlin, Germany, on 25 March 1996. The Information Day will be followed by a tutorial, on 26 March 1996, on how to make a successful proposal to the Commission.

The purpose of the Information Day is to give all interested parties an insight into the Community's activities in the "Telematics for Libraries" sector. It is aimed at representatives of libraries, system houses, research institutions, consultants and users in Germany. The event is, however, open to participants from other European countries.

Participants will receive first hand information, from experts in the field, on the Telematics programme as a whole, the "Telematics for Libraries" sector, the current projects of the programme, opportunities for proposals in related subjects and important hints for making a proposal.
