INFOMEDIA'96, the Second Conference of Information Specialists, will take place on 22-23 May 1996 in Prague, Czech Republic. Focusing on professional information resources available on electronic media, the two-day event will cover:
- Professional information content available on the internet, CD-ROM and via other media;
- Electronic information resources in public and academic libraries;
- New methods, technologies and software tools;
- Copyright/licencing issues related to electronic media;
- Information market and information marketing.
A presentation on EC-funded support for information projects in libraries will be given at the conference. This will cover activities supported under the "Libraries" sector of the Community's Telematics Applications programme.
