The role of education and training in technology transfer, as well as the issue of organization and communication models of technology transfer will also be discussed. Use will be made of case studies, both successful and unsuccessful, of examples of technology transfer.The European Software Institute is a major industry initiative, founded by leading European companies to improve the competitiveness of the European software industry.
