Multimedia in action: PROTEXT V, November 1991

An international congress, PROTEXT V, on the subject of "Multimedia in action", will take place in the city of Luxembourg from 20 to 22 November 1991. The congress will provide an opportunity for specialists, researchers and managers to meet other professionals in all fields of multimedia information dissemination and in associated high technologies under application or under development. Lecturers will include renowned professionals from related industries or companies involved in the business. The plenary sessions will cover such topics as: multimedia information management, multimedia in CEC programmes, hypertext and hypermedia, multimedia projects in European industry, multimedia perspectives and visions, and speech processing. The Commission of the European Communities, one of the patrons of the congress, is contributing on a large scale to the programme and to its organization. Mr. Riccardo PETRELLA, of DG XII/H, will chair. Interested parties will have the opportunity to show their own applications; exhibition places will be made available free of charge.EUROBROKERS
