AVI'96 - Advanced Visual Interfaces

AVI'96, an international workshop on advanced visual interfaces, will take place in Gubbio, Italy, on 27-29 May 1996. The workshop is being supported by two members of the ESPRIT Network of Excellence: IDOMENEUS (Information and Data on Open Media for Networks of Users) and FADIVA (Foundations of Advanced 3D Information Visualization).
The aim of the workshop is to bring together experts from different areas of computer science who have a common interest in the design and management of visual interfaces. The workshop will focus on research in the areas of information visualization, graphical and pictorial communication tools, virtual reality applications, multimedia environments, WWW interfaces, visual languages, visual database systems, adaptive interfaces, and other recent technological developments.
