"La Science en Fête" is a yearly event, organized by the French Ministry of higher education and research, aimed at promoting dialogue between the general public and the scientific community in France. This year's event will take place, all over France, from 11-13 October 1996.
During these three days, research organizations, universities and innovating enterprises will be presenting their work and future plans to the general public in all regions of France. Numerous colloquia, exhibitions and open-door days in scientific laboratories are planned, and companies with a strong technological orientation will be demonstrating their projects, prototypes and new services. Approximately 2000 events are programmed in over 700 towns and villages throughout the country.
