- Foundry'96 International (23-27 September 1996): An exhibition of equipment, plant, fuels, consumables and services for ferrous and non-ferrous foundries;
- Furnaces'96 International (23-26 September 1996): An exhibition of industrial process heating plant, equipment, fuels, refractories, energy saving technologies, ancillaries and services associated with furnace technology and thermal processing of metals and materials;
- Materials and Components'96 International (23-26 September 1996): An exhibition of finished and semi-finished components and associated services employed in the manufacturing or assembling of finished products, together with advanced materials and allied production processes, testing methods, ancillary activities and services for the materials engineering industries;
- Metal Finishing and Surface Technology'96 International (23-26 September 1996): An exhibition of surface treatment and finishing operations, including metallic and organic coatings, plasma spraying, HVOF, ion deposition, vacuum deposition, ion implantation and titanium nitride coating;
- Metplant'96 (23-26 September 1996): An exhibition of primary and secondary metal manufacturing equipment, materials, consumables and services, also incorporating tube, wire and aluminium;
- The Welding and Metal Fabrication Show'96 (23-26 September 1996): A national exhibition of welding and metal fabrication technology;
- Engineering Lasers'96 (23-26 September 1996): An exhibition on the use of laser technology in metals engineering.
The eight exhibitions will be complemented by an international conference (24-26 September 1996). This will cover all themes represented at the exhibition, including sessions on castings and forgings, metal finishing, diecasting, heat treatment, furnaces, metallurgical plant, foundry equipment and supplies, and advanced materials. The European Commission (DG XIII) will be present at this event.
