An information meeting on "Information retrieval and neurosciences" will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 15-16 June 1996. It will be held in the framework of the Interdisciplinary European Awareness Action on Information Retrieval and Neurosciences, organized by the Centre de Hautes Etudes Internationales d'Informatique Documentaire (CID). The meeting will receive support from the Information Society Project Office (ISPO) of DG III and DG XIII of the European Commission.
The keynote speech will be delivered by the Nobel Laureate Professor Prigogine.
Specialists in the field of neuroscience and information retrieval, as well as all those interested in the subject, are invited to participate in the meeting.
