It is organized as a joint initiative of the EUREKA member states, with support from DG XII of the European Commission. EUREKA was established in 1985 as a cooperation programme between European firms and research institutes in the field of advanced technologies.The brokerage event is intended to support the activities of the EUREKA umbrella "FACTORY-FF" (a EUREKA umbrella aims at creating EUREKA R&D projects in a particular technological field).The theme of the event is the future development of production engineering and technologies.
