A working document for the forthcoming international RESTPOR'96 conference, "Global comparison of regional RTD strategies for development and innovation", is now available from DG XII of the European Commission.
The conference will take place in Brussels, Belgium, from 19 to 21 September 1996. It aims to provide a global comparative analysis of innovative regional systems and to present examples of the positive benefits to be gained from the development of networks and coordinated strategies between the business sector, universities, research institutes and public authorities.
