Value Analysis Workshops

Forbairt, the Irish State Development Agency, is organizing a series of Value Analysis Workshops to be held in Dublin, Ireland, in September, November and December 1996.

Value analysis (VA) is a tried and proven, universally applicable, systematic method which follows a work plan, inculcates team work and enhances creativity. VA has been recently shown, as a result of an EC market study and detailed examination of case studies, to be a method that has benefited many companies in both the manufacturing and service sectors.

The workshops, which are being part-funded by the European Community's INNOVATION programme under the EU Value Management Initiative, are aimed at enabling companies to acquire certified training in the method. The workshops, which will be carried out be a certified trainer in VA, are scheduled as follows:

- Certified basic course according to DIN 69910: 11-13 September 1996;
- Practise course: 25-27 November 1996;
- Certified facilitator course: 9-11 December 1996.
