BRITE/EURAM and TRANSPORT Information Days - The Netherlands

EG-Liaison, member of the European Innovation Relay Centre network in The Netherlands, is organizing two Information Days, on 4 and 9 December 1996, relating, respectively, to the Community's RTD programme in the field of Transport (Amsterdam) and to the Industrial and Materials Technologies programme (BRITE/EURAM III) (Delft).

The TRANSPORT Information Day is being organized in collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Commission officials will present the third call for proposals under the TRANSPORT programme, due to be launched on 17 December 1996. National officials will provide information on the support available to potential proposers and participants will have the opportunity to make contacts and exchange information. Information will also be provided on other research programmes with transport activities.

The BRITE/EURAM Information Day will provide information on the BRITE/EURAM programme in view of the forthcoming call for proposals (also 17 December 1996). Three parallel sessions will address specific areas: environment-friendly technologies; transport; and Integrated Manufacturing Systems.
