Composite materials and structures
The objective of the conference is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and discussion, mainly among Greek researchers, scientists and engineers involved in the area of composite materials. A small number of non-Greek eminent scientists will be invited to present key-note lectures in selected areas. The conference aims to present an overview of the latest developments in the design, processing and structural applications of composite materials. Research areas to be covered will include:
- Polymer matrix composites;
- Metal matrix composites;
- Ceramic matrix composites;
- Carbon/carbon composites;
- Cement-based composites;
- Composite structures;
- Non-destructive testing, inspection and evaluation of composites.
Scientists working in the above areas are invited to submit original works neither published nor submitted for publication elsewhere.
The conference will also feature a Technology Day, organized by the Help Forward IRC, and an exhibition of products made of composite materials manufactured in Greece.
