A sectoral meeting on "Somatic gene therapy", organized within the framework of the Community's specific RTD programme in the field of Biotechnology (BIOTECH), will take place in Milan, Italy, on 15-17 May 1997.
The main aim of the meeting, which will bring together participants from three projects funded under the BIOTECH programme, will be to report on and discuss progress made in the field of somatic gene therapy.
