Innovation in Europe - TII conference 1997

The annual conference of TII, the European Association for the Transfer of Technologies, Innovation and Industrial Information, will be held in Naples, Italy, on 28 to 29 April 1997. The conference will address a number of aspects of innovation in Europe.
The opening and closing plenary sessions will be addressed by the retiring and incoming presidents of TII, by professors at the Federico II University of Naples, which is hosting the conference, and by Mr. Umberto Scapagnini, the President of the European Parliament's Research Committee.
The focus of the conference will be the parallel working groups, which will address the following subjects:
- Science parks and regional development;
- Innovation in a regional context;
- Technology consultancy and networking services;
- Technology monitoring for SMEs;
- Innovation, intellectual property and research exploitation;
- Innovation and quality;
- Innovation and environment.
