A regional workshop on "Innovation and telematics in the food industry" will be held in Cork, Ireland, on 27 June 1997.
The workshop is being organized by the Network on Innovation and Technology Transfer in the RETI Regions (RETI-NET), in the framework of its involvement in the EPRI-Watch project. It is addressed to experts in food technology and food processing, food companies and politicians interested in this area. The programme will include presentations on:
- The EPRI-Watch European Information Network;
- Rural development and the LEADER programme;
- EU opportunities for SMEs;
- Experiences from Europe;
- The Internet and SMEs.
