MIDAS-NET participation in Information Society Awareness Week

The members of MIDAS-NET, the network of nodes set up under the INFO2000 programme to increase awareness and use of multimedia applications and services, are organizing a number of events within the framework of the European Information Society Awareness Week, which will take place from 6 to 11 October 1997.
Events are organized at local level, in order to make them as relevant as possible to the conditions and needs of local audiences. Different actions are being organized to target individual groups, in particular SMEs and user groups in trade and industry, as well as the general public.
