Information technology and programming - IT&P'98

IT&P'98, the annual Information Technology and Programming conference will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 9 to 13 June 1998.
The focus of the event will be "The Global Information Society". The main topics to be covered are public administration, teleworking, electronic commerce, education and research collaboration. The programme will include a mixture of lectures, presentations of reviewed papers, discussions, poster sessions and demonstrations. A number of successful European Commission funded projects will be presented during the event.
In parallel to IT&P'98, the first Deep Green conference will be held, from 10 to 12 June 1998. This conference aims to increase communications and understanding between the public and information technologists in the fields of public administration, education and research collaboration. Both conferences will provide a good opportunity for foreign specialists to support the development of the Information Society in Bulgaria and to establish contacts with Bulgarian specialists.
The organizers are interested in receiving papers for presentation at the conference. Papers should be sent in full (in English) by 10 March 1998 at the latest.
