ACTS Agents Workshop

A workshop on software agents technology, organized by the ACTS programme, will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 18 and 19 February 1998. Limited to ACTS projects, and EURESCOM and ESPRIT participants, the workshop is part of the preparation for 13 new ACTS projects on software agents technology which will be launched in March 1998 following the third call for proposals.

The aim of the workshop is to achieve a common understanding between the new projects and to assess their likely results for industry and standardization. The first day will bring together the 13 new projects, while the second day will widen participation to other ACTS projects and EURESCOM and ESPRIT projects.

The event will allow a complete picture of ongoing agent research in Europe to be determined. It will also give participants the opportunity to discuss possible cooperation and coordination activities. Documentation relating to the meeting can be found on the World Wide Web, at:
