Lean software development: IPSS-Europe International Conference and Tutorials
Information Processing Systems and Software (IPSS), a part of the ESPRIT III programme, aims to provide the industrial technology required for development of the IT products likely to emerge onto the market in the 1990s. Projects focus on a global system approach, bringing together software developers, computer architects and knowledge engineering experts.
European enterprises are critically dependent on the quality and relevance of the IT systems they develop. High quality and profitability can be achieved by applying the concepts of lean software development. The Conference addresses the specific needs of industrial organizations for practical and efficient strategies, methods and actions to cope with new demmands of the software-dependent markets of the 90s.
