28 May 1998 - 28 May 1998
Belgium
A European Telework Information Day will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 28 May 1998. At this event the European Commission will outline its current and planned telework activities and discuss policy issues with interested parties. Specific focus will be given to European Telework Week, with a discussion on last year's activities and a presentation of the plans for 1998.

Participation is welcome from people interested in the Commission's telework activities in general and those interested in contributing to the success of European Telework Week.

During the past four years the Commission has been active in pursuing a comprehensive policy designed to build the Information Society in Europe. As part of this policy DG XIII, in close collaboration with DG V and other Commission services, has designed a European Telework Agenda as a series of key events spanning the spectrum of telework issues.
