NETIE'98 - New Trends in Industrial Engineering
The objective of the conference is to disseminate new methods of industrial engineering in existing applications. It also aims to create dialogue among experts, representatives of Slovak companies and educational institutes.
The conference will be divided into two sessions, the first involving presentations by experts from the EU, Japan, and Central and Eastern Europe, and the second consisting of shorter presentations on the following topics:
- Industrial engineering and productivity improvement strategies;
- Business process reengineering and manufacturing strategies;
- Production planning and control;
- Design, simulation and revitalization of manufacturing systems;
- Logistics;
- Total quality management;
- Human resource management;
- Education and training in industrial engineering;
- Continuous improvement of enterprise processes;
- Production automation and information systems.
