Re-Industrialisation of the EU 2016 conference

A major Horizon 2020-funded conference focussing on the re-industrialisation of the EU will be held under the auspice of the Slovakian Presidency of the Council of the EU in Bratislava, Slovakia, from 26 to 28 October 2016.

Excellent science, research and innovation are essential for a sustainable development of the European economy. That is why hundreds of representatives from European and international research, innovation communities, and the business sector will meet to discuss this topic during a prestigious event in the field of nanotechnologies, advanced materials, manufacturing and production technologies, biotechnology - the International Conference REinEU2016.

The event will welcome about 1 000 participants, which makes it one of the largest events during the Slovakian Presidency of the Council of the EU in the second half of 2016.

Planned activities include plenaries and panel discussions with international keynote speakers, parallel thematic sessions, workshops and seminars, matchmaking activities for SMEs and research institutions, and exhibitions of innovative companies, successful R&I projects and excellent research institutions.
