3rd UNI-SET Energy Clustering Event
EUA, together with KU Leuven, is organising the 3rd UNI-SET Energy Clustering Event (ECE) from 21 to 23 November 2016. The event will be hosted by the University Politehnica of Bucharest (Romania).
The event is the third in a series of UNI-SET ECEs which are taking place in 2016 and 2017 to discuss and stimulate the development of innovative research and education programmes in the energy field. The conference will offer specific opportunities for “clustering” knowledge, in which research and education leaders from different disciplines will present their views on the specific priorities of the SET-Plan. Very importantly, conference participants will have the opportunity to provide feedback for the European roadmap in the field of smart energy systems and communities, in line with the general “Roadmap for Universities in Energy” (http://www.eua.be/Libraries/uni-set/eua-epue-roadmap-for-universities-in-energy.pdf?sfvrsn=0) validated at the 2nd ECE in Turin (www.eua.be/activities-services/events/event/2016/09/26/default-calendar/2nd-uni-set-energy-clustering-event).
EUA and the UNI-SET consortium have launched a Call for Contributions welcoming proposals for contributions for parallel and clustering sessions based on the event’s theme of “Smart Energy Systems and Communities”. Please refer to the Call for Contributions on the event website: http://www.eua.be/activities-services/events/event/2016/11/21/default-calendar/3rd-uni-set-energy-clustering-event.
Registration for the event is free of charge and will close on 7 November 2016. Please note that attendance to the event is limited. Places will be allocated on a first-registered, first-served basis (more information at the following link: http://www.eua.be/activities-services/events/event/2016/11/21/default-calendar/3rd-uni-set-energy-clustering-event).
