AGORAL 2001, the 13th scientific and technology meeting for the food industry will focus on biological tools for food processing and methods of analysis. The event will take place in Dijon, France, from 28 to 29 March 2001.

The AGORAL meetings are organised each year by the main agro-food engineering French universities and industries around a main topic. They consist of a series of conferences and poster exhibitions covering both applied industrial and technical matters and more scientific and advanced research aspects.

This year's conference will focus on industry in particular. It aims to fulfil the requirements of entrepreneurs looking for new tools to improve their products and the quality and safety of food, by bringing them together with researchers.

In addition, the Innovation Relay Centre, France Centr'Est, will organise a European brokerage session in parallel to the conferences and poster presentations. This session will offer opportunities for one-to-one appointments for participants in order to foster collaborations and partnerships at the European level.
