An international congress on silvopastoralism and sustainable management will take place in Lugo, Spain from 18 to 24 April 2004.
The aim of the event is to bring together scientists and technicians to discuss the current and future prospects for silvopastoralism in a global context, with the ultimate aim of increasing the biodiversity and sustainability of forests.
Topics to be addressed by the congress include design of silvopastoral systems, productivity and quality, ecological implications, and economic, social and cultural benefits.
