The ninth European nutrition conference will take place from 1 to 4 October in Rome, Italy.
The conference will gather scientists from different regions in Europe, particularly those involved in the EU's Fifth Framework Programme, as well as the various stakeholders in the European food industry, with a view to discussing the relationship between nutrition and health problems.
Specifically, the conference will seek to evaluate options in public health nutrition; establish research needs; and assess food patterns in Europe and their implications on health and society.
The conference is being organised on behalf of the Federation of the European nutrition societies (FENS) and the Italian nutrition society (SINU), in association with the European academy of nutritional sciences.For further information, please visit the following web address:
