A PAXIS workshop entitled 'zooming in on European excellence' will take place in Turin, Italy, from 26 to 28 November.
PAXIS (pilot action of excellence on innovative start-ups) is funded under the Innovation section of the Fifth Framework Programme (FP5). The workshop will see the presentation by PAXIS partners of their work, conclusions on best practice, and ideas.
The workshop will comprise three sections: the Turin region and its ambitious plans for innovative development at local level; the status of all PAXIS areas and projects; and pre-seed financing.
The EU's Enterprise and Information Society Commissioner, Erkki Liikanen, will attend the event, along with representatives from the Italian Ministry for Economic Activities and the Turin region.For further information, please visit:
