IST call information day - access to and preservation of cultural and scientific resources

The Commission's Information Society DG is organising an information day on the fifth call under the information society technologies (IST) strand of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6). The event will take place on 16 June in Kirchberg, Luxembourg.
The event is geared towards streamlining proposals in response to that section of the call dealing with 'access to and preservation of cultural and scientific resources', expected to be published in May with a closing date of the end of September 2005.
It should help the research community to build consensus on trends and challenges in future research, to better understand the FP6 instruments, to facilitate sharing of ideas and experiences, and to find partners for project consortia.For further information, please consult the following web address:
