Nutrigenomics and health: from vision to food, Denmark

The Danish Centre for Advanced Food Studies is organising the LMC International Food Congress 2006 at the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University (KVL) in Denmark on March 15 and 16 2006.
The congress will present recent progress within nutrigenomics: presentations on day one will explore topics within the field of 'nutrigenomics, markers and health', while the programme on day two will address topics within the field of 'nutri-genomics and new food'.
The plenary sessions will comprise keynote lectures given by internationally respected scientists who have been invited to present current and future research. Topics to be addressed will include nutrigenomics and the obesity problem, bioinformatics, the industry's expectations to nutrigenomics in relation to consumer health, system biology in Chinese nutrition and medicine, visions for nutrigenomics, and pertinent ethical aspects.For further information, please visit:
