The second European Road Transport Research Arena (TRA) conference will be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from 21 to 24 April 2008.
The slogan of the conference is 'Greener, safer and smarter transport for Europe', and with this in mind the focus of the event will be on climate change and road safety. The conference programme will be organised in several plenary, strategic and thematic sessions based on European road research needs and agendas.
Conference participants will have the opportunity to meet potential project partners, as well as the European Commission officials who could help them in their research efforts. At the TRA 2008 exhibition, participants will find information on the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), as well as other action plans and initiatives, and see the work of a variety of EU-funded projects that are making major strides towards better road transport.
The agenda also includes a number of technical visits and other events showcasing some of Slovenia's major road transport facilities and projects, and cultural highlights.For more information, please visit:
