The network EUR-OCEANS ('European Network of Excellence for ocean ecosystems analysis') is co-hosting a presentation on 'Overfishing and climate change: the risk of collapse, the example of the largest fishing industry in the world - the anchovies of Peru' on 13 November in Paris, France.

The event will look at the question of how fish are responding to the challenging combination of climate change, human activity and the variability of marine ecosystems. The topic of whether fish stocks can be sustainably managed will also be addressed.

A film co-produced by EUR-OCEANS, the oceanic theme park Océanopolis and the French Institute for Developmental Research (IRD) will accompany the presentation. For further information, please contact
