A conference on 'Global economic governance: systemic challenges, institutional responses, and the role of new actors' will be held on 17 February in Brussels, Belgium.
The event is sponsored by the PEGGED ('Politics, economics, and global governance: the European dimension') project funded under the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), in conjunction with the Directorate-General Research and the Bureau of European Policy Advisors (BEPA) of the European Commission.
Session topics include 'The global financial system', 'Macroeconomic imbalances' and 'The global trading system'. A policy panel discussion will conclude the event.
