The European Network of Excellence CINEFOGO ('Civil society and new forms of governance in Europe - the making of European citizenship') is organising its final conference dedicated to 'Social rights, active citizenship and governance in the European Union' on 17 and 18 March in Brussels, Belgium.
The conference, which will be held under the auspices of the European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, Vladimir Spidla, will present the network's findings on relationships among citizens, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), civil servants and politicians at the European and national levels.
It will focus on two themes relevant to all citizens of Europe- social rights and social reality in the EU, and active citizenship, participation and governance.For further information and registration, please click:
