The EU-funded Co-Extra ('GM and non-GM supply chains: their coexistence and traceability') project is organising a conference on the coexistence and traceability of genetically modified (GM) and non-GM products in food and feed supply chains from 3 to 5 June in Paris, France.

This two-day scientific conference and one-day stakeholders' workshop will present the results of four years of scientific research. Highlights of the programme include:
- sampling strategies, detection, identification and quantification of GM ingredients;
- managing gene flow, including containment techniques;
- supply chain modelling;
- liability and redress issues;
- coexistence and traceability practices around the world;
- technologies for effective supply chain management.

The stakeholders' workshop will take place on the third day of the event, and will enable discussion of coexistence and traceability issues, taking into account the demands, needs and practical experiences of stakeholders.For further information, please visit:
