'eHealth Week', Budapest, Hungary
European healthcare establishments will be faced with substantial challenges over the next decade. These include significant demographic changes and reduced human resources, which may lead to a need to re-design the European healthcare landscape.
The event will highlight the role of information and communication technology in making Europe's health systems fit for future challenges. The conference programme will centre on 'EU regions and eHealth' and the EU's Active and Healthy Ageing Innovation Partnership.
The event will also feature a ministerial conference on eHealth. Chaired by the the Health Ministry of Hungary under the auspices of the Hungarian Council Presidency of the EU, the aim is to encourage Member States to work together to encourage greater national and cross-border implementation of eHealth solutions. For further information, please visit: http://www.ehealthweek.org/(opens in new window)
