'European electric vehicle congress', Brussels, Belgium
One of the pillars of the European Commission's policy to lower greenhouse gas emissions from transport and to reduce oil dependency is the strategy on alternative motor fuels to substitute 20% of the fossil fuel by 2020. Within this framework, battery, hybrid and fuel cell electric vehicles will play an important role.
Owing to research and development progress, battery and hybrid electric vehicles are technically ready for a wider market launch, fuel cell electric vehicles still need a longer technological maturation process. As technology moves forward, there is a need to have a roadmap for a sustainable urban mobility technology taking into consideration technological, environmental and economical acceptable solutions.
The aim of this conference will be to bring together and foster exchange of views between researchers and various stakeholders involved in this field. For further information, please visit: http://www.eevc.eu/(opens in new window)
