A conference on carbon reduction technologies will take place from 19 to 22 September 2011 in Jura Krakowsko-Czestochowska, Poland.
In recent years, there has been a great deal of research in the field of low carbon energy generation. This has been in order to prepare and select appropriate technologies, study process operating conditions and performance, and process integration and renewable energy sources utilisation.
This conference is designed to be a scientific and technical event, gathering together stakeholders from the worlds of academic research, applied research and industry to discuss research advances, potential applications and research needs and challenges. Topics will include:
- pre-combustion capture:
- post-combustion capture;
- oxy-combustion capture;
- biomass combustion and co-combustion;
- sorbents, solvents and membranes;
- other/novel technologies;
- modeling of processes;
- renewable energy (wind, solar, geothermal and hydro);
- transport and storage;
- system analysis and techno economic assessment;
- policy issues and legal aspects;
