The Fifth International Conference on Computational Chemistry will take place from 29 to 31 December 2011 in Montreux, Switzerland.

Computational chemistry is a branch of chemistry that uses the principles of computer science to assist in solving chemical problems. It uses the results of theoretical chemistry, incorporated into efficient computer programs, to calculate the structures and properties of molecules and solids. While results from computational chemistry normally complement the information obtained by chemical experiments, it may sometimes predict previously unobserved chemical phenomena. Techniques from the field are also widely used in the design of new drugs and materials.

The conference will bring together researchers and scientific community who are active in this area of study. For further information, please visit: http://www.wseas.us/conferences/2011/montreux/compuchem/(opens in new window)
