Fourth International Conference on Learning and Research in Working Life

The Fourth International Conference on Learning and Research in Working Life will take place in Steyr, Austria, on 1-4 July 1996. It is supported by the Community's INNOVATION programme for the dissemination and exploitation of the results of RTD activities (under DG XIII of the European Commission).
The aims of the conference are to:
- Stimulate collaboration between researchers and practitioners within organizations and with regard to working life in general;
- Support the development of collaborative research methods;
- Further develop the set-up of a network between corresponding initiatives in Europe and third countries.
The main themes of the conference are learning processes and change at work, collaborative research methods and practice, and workplace strategies for lifelong learning.
The conference programme will be organized through parallel workshop sessions, based on case studies, and discussion groups.
