The European Commission, DG XXIII, has published an invitation to tender for the design, development and maintenance of new software for the EUROPARTENARIAT programme. This programme, a joint initiative of DG XXIII and DG XVI, aims to stimulate and promote cooperation agreements (commercial, technological, financial) between enterprises in less developed or declining industrial regions, and enterprises in other Member States. The software, which will be used to plan meetings, both those arranged prior to an event and those arranged on the spot, must: - Contain a database of information on all participating companies; - Be able to make data readily available for publishing purposes; - Avoid double bookings; - Have a warning system to alert companies of new appointments; - Offer a user-friendly and multilingual interface; - Be usable in a network configuration of up to 80 connected terminals; - Function in conjunction with Internet applications.
