The European Commission's Directorate General XIII has published an invitation to tender for preparatory activity studies for the follow-on to the INFO2000 programme. The European Commission's INFO2000 programme aims to stimulate the European multimedia content market in four areas, including economic exploitation of Europe's cultural heritage, business services for firms (particularly for SMEs), geographic information, and scientific, technical and medical information. The tender covers four distinct studies: - Access to capital for the content industries; - Commercial exploitation of public-sector information; - Export potential and linguistic customisation of digital content products and services; - Assessment of the impact of Community actions under INFO2000.
