Six MIDAS-NET nodes have issued the results of multimedia surveys in their countries to acquire a better insight into the industry and a better overview of the national situation, as follows:

- MIDAS-NET Greece: "Overview of the electronic business and multimedia sector Greece" - results of this study can be obtained from the Hellenic MIDAS-NET node, contact Costas Petropulos;
- MIDAS-NET Netherlands: "Multimedia use in small and medium-sized enterprises" - survey, results and conclusions are available in Dutch and English, from MIDAS-NET Nederland, contact M. Van Staden;
- The Scottish-Northern Irish MIDAS-NET node, in collaboration with Scottish Partnership across Networks (SPAN), recently released a report, with MIDAS-NET branding, detailing the uptake of information and communication technologies (ICT) within Scottish businesses. The development and uptake in the UK, France, Germany, Japan and US. The study can be accessed and downloaded from the SPAN web site;
- The results of a survey on SMEs and multimedia expertise, carried out by the Flemish partner of MIDAS-NET Belgium (in Flemish) can be accessed and downloaded from their website;
- MIDAS-NET Ireland completed two surveys in 1998:the "Second Irish Internet / Multimedia Survey" is available on http://www.midas.ie/2ndsurvey.html;results and conclusions of the "Survey of the language needs of businesses" can be accessed and downloaded from http://www.midas.ie/mlis/survey.html;

- The "Chambre des Métiers in Luxembourg", one of the MIDAS-NET Luxembourg partners, has published its "Survey on the new information technologies in trade concerns (in French) on http://www.chambre-des-metiers.lu.
