Commission calls for Decision on Romania's participation in FP5
The European Commission has submitted a proposal for a Council Decision concerning the association of Romania to Community programmes in the field of Research, Technological development and Demonstration (RTD) and to programmes for research and training activities. The Commission submitted the proposal on 25 February 1999. The proposal calls for the Council to take the position established by the Association Council, which means that Romania may participate in the Fifth Framework Programme as well as the Fifth EURATOM Framework Programme.
