The newsletter will report on how the Commission evaluates the economic, societal and social changes in the Information Society, and the measures it is taking to facilitate the transition from the industrial society to the Information Society. Topics in the first edition of the newsletter include the countdown to liberalization, and the European market in information and communications technologies. The newsletter is available in English only, on the ISPO server on the World Wide Web, and also on paper.
