The Commission is planning to create a pilot programme on crisis prevention, entitled the "Crisis Prevention Network". It will consist of a network of individual researchers from think-tanks and research organizations, including NGOs active in the field of conflict prevention, who will produce reports and studies for and under the direction of the Commission. The network, the finalization of reports and the coordination of studies will be managed by an experienced organization or think-tank in the field of conflict prevention and international affairs with recognized experience in the operational management of research programmes.
