Objective The feasibility of a new process of managed pyrolysis applied to wood has been proved on laboratory scale. This process will allow the production of a new product (PYROW) presenting new specific properties in terms of dimensional stability and durability. This new product can be used for external application without additional treatment (impregnation, finishing).
