The programme will be organised around the links between citizen science and the different fields of the SDGs. It will comprise transversal interactive and collaborative sessions, in order to gather input and draft collaboratively the state of the art of citizen science and the strategy for citizen science for 2020-2030. The social events of the conference will also be designed as part of this task: these will eventually include a welcome reception at MfN (on the first evening), a festival and conference social dinner.
Conference summary reportKey outcomes and an overview of the event will be published in a Conference Summary Report.
Brief dissemination planDissemination activities described in this plan will strongly liaison with existing citizen science projects, social media, relevant networks such as ECSA, Ecsite, EU-Citizen.Science, etc., as well as national citizen science networks, H2020 national contact points, European Commission channels, advertising in journals or magazines, etc.
Conference declarationThe Conference Programme Committee (CPC) will carefully frame the collaborative process that will be implemented to build the policy recommendations, and ultimately the conference declaration.
Conference evaluation reportThe evaluation report will describe outcomes of the two core evaluation activities that will be performed: formative feedback on the quality of conference activities and epistemic information on the relationship between citizen science and the SDGs, and how participating in the conference has led stakeholders (e.g. policy-makers, scientists, etc.) to reflect on various aspects of the link with the SDGs
As also personal data are involved and Dissemination should be planned carefully, a data Dissemination plan is made.
