Shaping the future of urban air mobility
Rapid urbanisation has intensified the need for a sustainable mobility infrastructure in modern cities. Urban air mobility provides a cost-effective, green and smart development solution. FF2020, an EU-funded project, aims to become a global leader in solving current environmental, social economic and technological challenges by offering integrated, secure and convenient solutions. The project focuses on developing a state-of-the-art geospatial urban air mobility ecosystem which includes governance, regulatory and interoperability frameworks; a geospatial digital infrastructure; and an Identity of Things scheme. By implementing and evaluating this innovative solution in five living labs, FF2020 will gain invaluable knowledge that will revolutionise drone infrastructure, autonomous monitoring and last-mile delivery across Europe.
